AFCAT Entry
Flying Ground Duty Technical
- Aeronautical Engineering Electronics: 50% Marks in 12th class with Math and Physics subjects from any recognized institute, and 4 Years Graduation / Integrated PG Degree in Engineering / Technology
- Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical: 50% Marks in 12th class with Math and Physics subjects from any recognized institute, and 4 Years Engineering / Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
Ground Duty Non-Technical
- Weapon System (WS) Branch: 50% Marks in 12th class with Math and Physics subjects from any recognized institute. Bachelor’s degree (60% Marks)
- Administration and Logistics: Bachelor’s Degree (60% Marks).
- Accounts: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (60% Marks).
- Education: PG Degree in any stream (50% Marks).
Non-Special Entry
- Flying: NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ Certificate and Other Details as per Flying Branch Eligibility.

AFCAT 2/2025 Exam Pattern
AFCAT written exam will be of 300 marks A total of 100 questions will be asked in the 2-hour exam. The exam will be asked from various subjects like General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. All questions will be objective type in English. There will be negative marking for wrong answers One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
