Candidates should have the minimum educational qualifications indicated for RRB Group D posts in Official Notification CEN 08/2024. from recognized Board/University/Institute as on the closing date for ONLINE Registration. Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed minimum educational qualification SHOULD NOT apply.
The educational qualifications required for RRB Group D Vacancy 2025, the candidates should have passed Class 10th, and 12th from a recognized board in India OR have passed ITI from a recognized National Council for Vocational Training Institute. ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT (or) equivalent (OR) National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT can also apply. However, the candidates with higher educational qualifications are also eligible for Railway Group D Recruitment 2025.

Railway Group D Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
as per RRB Group D Notification 2025 selection process consists of two stage named Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). On the basis of CBT Performance, candidates with 3 times of vacancy will be eligible for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The Final Selection list of Railway Group D Recruitment 2025 will be on the basis of CBT Score on qualifying the PET. Candidates must know that RRB Group D PET doses not carry any marks but every candidates need to qualify PET Stage.

Railway Group D Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is the first stage of the RRB Group D Exam 2025. Railway Group D CBT Exam consist of four segment General Science, Mathematics, Reasoning, and General Awareness and Current Affairs.

- Total Duration: 90 minutes & Total Questions: 100
- Question will be of 10th Standard.
- Each Question carry 1 Marks.
- Candidates shall be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer
- No mark shall be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted
- There will be negative marking and 1/3 Marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Category wise minimum qualifying mark is 40% for UR&EWS, 30% for OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/SC/ST.
- Normalization of marks will be done for CBTs held in multiple shifts.

On the basis of CBT Performance, candidates with 3 times of vacancy will be called for Physical Efficiency Test. The Merit list of Railway Group D Recruitment 2025 will be on the basis of CBT Score. Group D Physical Efficiency Test is in qualifying nature only. Candidates must know that RRB Group D PET doses not carry any marks but every candidates need to qualify PET Stage.

RRB Group D Notification 2025 Application Fee Refund Policy
For UR/EWS/OBC– Rs 400 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT
For SC/ST/PwBD/Female/Ex-Servicemen –Rs 250 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.
